I haven’t touched a video game in about a year, but this is super tempting
Remember, I called this shit, even on this board. When there was all the discussion about THJ getting shut down, I said for sure Daybreak will just copy it and sell it. Shut it down, copy it, sell it - it’s the same strategy Blizzard did with the private Nostalrius server, and they made an absolute killing. But in this case it almost seems like a grey area theft of intellectual property. Yes it’s their game engine, but not their idea
When I was on retail, MAG / NEC / BRD was my ultimate trio. Absolutely melts group content bosses with two pets + DoT sustain + Burst. You’d pop the Mage pet AA that gave them superpower stats temporarily to tank, load up the Necro dots, then nuke with the mage. Bosses just melted. But, while it might be the ultimate single target mob grinder, I dunno if it could work on high Difficult (D1+) bosses without heals. My trio on retail had healer mercs. And pet focus items were pretty stronk
I’ve heard of possible cheese with PAL / BER / X where some combination with the stance that lets you proc your spell 1 gem with a particular spell would reduce the reuse of Lay on hands to like 30 seconds or something crazy. But I forgot the particulars or how BER fits in
What sucks is my fav class Enc seems pretty underwhelming in any combo. Clarity doesn’t stack with Lich, mez isn’t that important when your superhero char can tank multiple mobs, and charm is underwhelming when the disparity between player and mob strength isn’t nearly as wide
So I was thinking SK / SHM / BRD. But we’ll see, I’m probably all talk and won’t play anyway like usual lol
