It's literally a seized means of production and exclusion if you (or an associate) are always at the camp. Nobody else gets a chance, since we have shitty server rules where 1 person is allowed to hold a camp for however long they want and hand it off to whoever they want.

It's in your self interest. When you say "camp their own map", what you mean is "I don't care if they sit there the whole time, if they pay me".
When have you ever "helped" someone without them paying you or without you wanting to get something out of them in return, and what percentage of time? And no, it doesn't count if you know you will be gone at a certain time. Someone else being there directly benefits you, because it keeps the timer on the expected schedule.
Telling other people the timer is not something you're doing out of the goodness of your heart. You're doing that so people will be around at the correct time to loot the map, after they've paid you for loot rights.
You claim that the camp "is not worth it". So why have you constantly been there for over a year? The camp IS worth it for you, or else you wouldn't be there.
If you actually cared about the integrity of the game, and if you had something worthwhile to do with your life, then you would never be there, aside from when you need the map for one of your characters. Stormfeather does not despawn. Whenever he is up, any tracker in the zone can quickly see, and someone who needs the map would go kill it. Your actions are not adding anything beneficial to the game. You aren't helping. You're profiteering.
