It would be silly to think p99 could withstand time any longer than it already has. When your locked into the same content for 20 years.... I mean, what more could you ask for? In its day, it was a great experience. But even those days, reminiscing of the days before on live, are long gone for us now as well. This Everquest Legends delivers a fresh spin, that's more casually friendly to us who are later in our lives with responsibilities and time constraints. I see this project delivering where p99 cannot, same as EQlive.

I was very excited to learn that Daybrek was producing a casual friendly version of EverQuest, but upon further inspection it seems like it's a bit overtuned. Aside from watching videos of solo players killing end-game bosses in under 1 minute: You cannot play a single class character. You are required to choose at least 2 classes to multiclass with.
I just wish that was optional. I want to roll around on a monk and roflstomp everything. I don't want to multiclass, heh. I'll still give it a try when the Pre Order Beta rolls around, as the game only costs $19.99. Whether I stay subbed or not is still to be decided.
