brief summary from what i've seen on green over the last couple of years:
Friendly Druids - The newbie guild that invites everyone
Dial-A-Port - A guild specifically for porters to make money porting
Syndicate - Up and coming guild appears to be casual and making a run for Draft
Legacy of Fires - Veteran guild thats in the Draft but more on the casual side, smallest raid force of the draft guilds but can kill all mobs in the game.
Lineage Alliance - Draft guild that does some competition on natural respawns with a casual feel and medium sized raid force. Kills most mobs in game, more competitive than Fires on non-draft/quake content.
Safe Space - Basically same as fires on their own but teams up with Castle on big targets
Kingdom - Innovative, pushes new strategies, medium large force, competitive on all content, involved in most of the raid concerns
Castle Alliance - By far the largest raid force on the server, often referred to as zerg by others, competitive on all content, less experienced force than K/GG but has had a lot of recent success. Tons of mouths to feed, splits loot with SS on big mobs.
Good Guys - Most geared/experienced raid force, competes on everything, used to have a strangle hold on Vulak but recently CASS and K have been getting wins too.

I would say any of the lineage, legacy of fire, safe space or castle would be good options. You can talk to anyone with those guild tags in-game if you're interested in joining and they should be able to help you out.
