Killing NPC's in South Qeynos is how the first Level 60 was reached back in 2000. Those were good times, every city and newbie zone was a hunting ground for high level players, and it created a symbiotic relationship of low level players learning from and selling things for the high level people there. It's possible to go from Level 1 to Level 60 solely in South Qeynos, although definitely not as a solo self-found Warrior.
