Hail! I don't think we have too many miners playing the game. Or young people for that matter.
I would guess the median age is way older than 30, it's mostly EQ vets from the classic era. And to the extent EQ is on the retro gaming radar, the population is split between live EQ, TLP servers, THJ/EQL, PQ, p99 Blue and p99 Green, etc. So we do get new players on p99, but it's just a trickle. And with the other options we only get the masochists who really want to play the classic game. But I'm not complaining, I like the vibe here in general. It's like that Doug Stanhope joke about someone complaining "That shitty town is like 20 years behind the times." "Book me there, I had fun 20 years ago..."
