honestly this is probably the best way to resurrect interest to a dead franchise then to continue relying on an aging fanbase of boomers, gen x, and elder millennials.
I honestly believe that SoE missed a big chance of focusing on expanding the world of Norrath via singleplayer games in the 2000's since I see plenty of posts by people who were fans of the Champion of Norrath series but never touched the MMO's.
