New bard!
Hail! It seems I have somehow stumbled my way onto this classic EQ simulator. I recently had the itch to try out Everquest again for the first time since the Gates of Discord expansion. I wanted to play classic EQ and that led me to the Quarm server. It was nice, but just didn't quite scratch the old school itch. I can't put my finger on it, but it just didn't feel like EQ and the more I read about the various changes, it seemed like they were completely arbitrary.
So, that led me here. Literally the second I logged in I felt like "Ahhhhh, home!" Now that I've figured out the download, and got everything set up - and rerolling once because I decided I didn't like the deity I originally selected - I'm off to adventure in Qeynos, once again, 20+ years later.
If you see a wandering bard named Thaelorin that looks lost, well that's because I'm probably lost. Cheers!
