eh, the talking head youtuber thing is just an easier way to consume info for me than asking a LLM to compile a book report or reading all the headlines myself so someone trying to monetize talking to a camera doesn't bother me, more power to em
i get the criticism though but we've long since past that Rubicon, kids tell their teachers they want to be youtubers when they grow up going on like 10 years now, so everyone trying to pay bills via it is just the literal state of things and i just try to tune it out and hope it works out for em.
and yeah i'm spending hours on Kaia because its something i want not for validation or support, i'm not even supporting the companies making it possible for myself by daisy chaining 12 gmail accounts to use up free trials/free quota to accomplish it
i'm just happy to be around when some literal star trek type shit is possible for computer interfaces considering the state of open source assistants and Amazon/Apple ones a decade ago.
