Both male and female models exist, rare among mobs.
Their zone is an underdeveloped city with sections that could have been dedicated to at least one class. Plus, there's the outpost town in Stonebrunt. How many mobs have the same, with involved quests and rewards? Other than the froglok town in Swamp of No Hope which doesn't have any quests AFAIK.
They're a primitive race that contrasts a much more advanced race, similar to wood elves and high elves on the opposite continent. Looking at the erudite class options, kerrans would have likely had their pick of alternative classes, similar to wood elves compared to high.
And while wood elves are present on sister island in Ocean of Tears, kerrans occupy an island in Erud's Xing; both of these islands are stopping points for the boats.
