So my beef with OT is just that you can only charm the sabertooth tigers, just a bit of a clunky thing.
I'm not super keen on trying to keep the pet alive, I cruised pretty hard from 14-24 in a couple days with the standard charm kiting stuff--have two monsters battle, break charm, kill both, or if it's lopsided I just charmed another gorge hound to go in again and keep doing that until I can kill 5-6 of them and then med.
I saw recommendations of SK bull elephants but, as far as I can tell there's like two spawn points and it can spawn as a non-bull-elephant which kills it.
