At the risk of being overly repetitive, with a fresh server always maybe looming, I know I’m not the only one staring at the character select screen in my head like it’s a chess board, or a slot machine about to hit.. or maybe just a midlife crisis haha.
I’m curious though how people are actually approaching their class decisions this time around, beyond the casual “I’ll play whatever I feel like”
Are you finally rolling that race/class you’ve always said you would, but never actually do?
Or are you going back to an old main, convinced that this time you’ll be smarter, richer, and definitely won’t burn out before 60?

Do you plan ahead like a NASA launch, or an evidence board full of connections; or is it more of a just 'wing it' experience?
Does anyone go full on ocd and get their XP routes mapped, groups pre-planned, epic/quest milestones planned along the way, camps already claimed in your imagination?
What about alts?
Anyone planning a main + alt combo like you’re building a retirement portfolio? Is this the server where you specifically plan to use a legacy items like Manastone on both your main & your alt? Are you specifically playing a larger race at the start to get your Guise? Is it all part of the strategy, or are you one of the few who just constantly runs around with lucky dice in your pockets?

When you're planning, is it for classic-only and then re-rolling? Or does your main already exist mentally in Velious from day 1? Or is just the zerg plan to guild up fast and sprint toward raid content like it’s a server-first Olympic event?
Basically: What race/class are you going to play and why? Are you min-maxing? Role-playing? Future-proofing? Or just hopping on the ride knowing full well it’s going to derail somewhere along the way
