I agree that capitalism has brought us to an age where there is too much security and safety all over the world. And now we have to "do something about it" other than "killing them all"....
And I also agree that capitalism has brought us to an age, that has gotten us very close to making jobs obsolete...
But, we were ready for capitalism in the 1000's during the enlightenment age, and it took another 1000 years for a country to finally be formed that is built around it.
I'm pretty sure, if you just got a job, and worked towards utopia, you'd ruin less lives than you would if you had a "revolution" to "hope that you could jump start one"
Considering we've had 100s of revolutions and life has continued to suck, until everyone just "got a job" and started working towards utopia when America was invented.
The only way socialist utopia is going to work if all of the sudden we look around and realize we "built that as a result of labor" (AI/robots).
not, that "we forced it to happen for the benifit of labor."
