btw the fact that the Trump admin itself is providing small amounts of relief to student loan borrowers should tell you that we are teetering on the edge of a bubble burst. Student loan bubble was at the edge of insolvency years ago, and that was with a strong labor market and rising wages. Add in a recession simultaneously with the price effects of a trade war with China, many many people are going to be struggling to make student loan payments, we may see an echo of the 2008 financial crisis. You can't even discharge them with bankruptcy lol
