Sports have inherent drama in the very contest and I think that's part of what makes them fascinating. In the U.S. the Olympics is largely broadcast and produced by NBC. Have you guys heard or witnessed the time(s) when NBC cut away from a live event to air some bullshit fluff filler segment and missed capturing a world record performance? Most sports in the U.S. are pageantry and brought to you by corporate advertising and even the U.S. military in large financial part. So I don't watch the halftime show anymore because the actual game isn't worth the reductive nature of the show itself as produced. And I've never met Bad Bunny but respect to the islands and anyone arguing Puerto Rico isn't a part of the U.S. should tell this to their (Puerto Rico's) representative in Congress because this may surprise them.
