Found a solution that worked for me. On the compatibility tab for my winEQ shortcut I checked to disable full screen optimizations. Could have sworn I already had when I initially setup EQ on this Win11 PC, but it was unchecked when I looked a few weeks ago.
Since then I've had no black screens loading in. Hope this helps others!
