I actually read Duncan's Ritual Part 1 & 2 a week ago. It was kinda boring. It is basically the ceremonies to advance from degree 1 to degree 7. Then there's the Scottish Rite book which is the ceremonies for degrees 8 - 32. As for the final 33rd degree it is just an annual ceremony in Yale and that's it.
It was repetitive and boring to read through Duncan's Ritual. Just a bunch of hand signs and symbol meanings to learn if you want to become a freemason. And you can't join if you're not recommended by a freemason that you know in real life.
It just seems like a giant waste of time to become a freemason. Maybe you have to be there and see it for yourself, maybe then you would understand what's so cool about it cause from the books alone it is really dull.
