i'm taking a break until CUDA 13.0 and the new Nvidia driver are available on Arch linux before i play with mine again

Open AI is a cult. I keep letting myself naively think that they are "the best minds" trying to "make efficent tools for people"

Sam altman, is a cult leader. he is pushing an idea of "AGI and ASI will do all the work and mankind will enjoyo the ride" and I really think tahts what his employees are just trying to get to.

They are not building/polishing anything they understand.

They are just visionless engineers throwing compute at something they think will wake up and give them the answers to the universe.

Ive listened to him say that enough to know that is his ONLY message. His only talking point. He has nothing else to say.

HIs employees are san francisco tech junkies that were already cultlings before they discovered this AI super god they worship, but now they actually believe theya re going to unlock some super god.

I'd be more inclined to believe that the tools they use are greater than anything we've seen, and they have access to something that would make them actually believe this mumbo jumbo... because they are intelligent people after all...

But right now I am pretty sure that OpenAI is more of a cult, than just a buisness.

Also Grok users are basically a open source cult.
