The last thing he said as he gunned him down was “RAT PRICK!” And it’s true. He’s just following the code. Jack’s char was technically a snitch, even if he was a mafia boss, snitches get stitches

Yeah Departed's characters were just perfection. So deep. So awesome. Both of the characters are similar in IA but.. I think they were
perfected in the departed.
I do have to call out the scene, where Matt Daymon says the name of the movie like almost directly looking into the camera... that should have been cut.
"What's his name... *turns to camera* tHe DepArTed!?"
Mark Wahlberg's character is one of my favorite characters ever written, and I have never heard of any other character like him in anything else.
