Even though its disingenuous to assume I'd know they were gonna drive AND crash, Ill answer cuz it you.
Reiwa.
I have done exactly this in my 20s at the Australian F1 GP in Adelaide i had a friend who got smashed drunk, decided to ride his beautiful 1983 katana 1000 wire wheel model around adelaide. We all ganged up and took keys. He threatened us with violence so we relented. He rode, was pulled up and came back repentant.
He didnt crash though maybe this does not count in your pretend scenario.
So yes I would. And did.
What does that mean?
Does it mean god really does exist or is it just that i dont want ANY drunk person driving on my roads at any time.
It means I dont need a god to tell me to not let idiots drive on my roads and my morals (for want of a better term) are driven by logic.
As a driver, I assume the oncoming driver is alert, non suicidal, hasnt let jebus take the wheel and cares about themselves/their passengers. Its akin to a contract. You need god for that you are a faulty unit.

By God, a mind immune to metaphor.
