It's more symbolic than word based. It's not like dog sounds have letter and syllable analog with etymology and all that.
yeah try to get the concept of "language" in the way we use it or hear it out of the equation.

The "concept" that they are "communicating" and have "thought" is what im trying to say.

They just process that in a way that makes us think they don't have any of that.

Like, to a dog, they thihnk we are dumb animals and they are smart.

Like both are effectively thinking that. Being totally conscious but totallyl un aware of each others consciousness.

The old: If an ant is next to a highway, does it know there is a highway there? Or does it think it's open wilderness.

Do we not see the highway right outside of our consciousness?
