Haven't clicked the video yet but it sounds like a battle of license terms? MJ probably asserts rights to own whatever is created with it. Conflicts with Disney prior ownership of cartoon meeses extant.

Yeah this is about the "act" of creating copywritten characters, not reproducing and distributing copywritten material.
I really hate how the current law already protects Disney, but they just don't want people "doing the thing".
It's a scary precedent because that means there's a lot we "could do" that we wont be allowed to do as 2nd class (standard) citizens.
Also it's dangerous IMO for misinformation, to make humans think that AI art doesn't exist by shutting down the tools to use it. So bad actors can use it, and people will be more inclined to think it's real.
I see this as 2 paths we can take.
One, is the path theocracies and other dictatorships take. The other is the one that led to America, and freedom.
