About a year or so ago I started doing acrobatic yoga. My girlfriends been doing it for years and finally convinced me to start. It's been pretty fun - a nice way to meet new people and an interesting way to apply skills like strength, balance, and momentum. I actually now look forward to leg days at the gym as I try to improve my basing ability.
This last week I was at the Dutch Acro Yoga Festival, where people and teachers from all over the world came together for a week. There were some serious acrobats there, like professional circus level performers. Had a great time and learned a bunch.
