Melees (and hybrids to a lesser extent) will be terrible for a long time. Old world / classic = caster heaven. This has been proven many times over, both on live and on emu servers.

Warriors and Rogues are a must if you want to take raiding the least bit seriously, so while they might not be one rounding people like a shaman with ebolt they're highly important for quickly killing targets and MA purposes
