But I postulate that having an endless supply of porn at one’s fingertips from childhood (for most kids, some parents are better than others in protecting what their kids can see online) has had an affect on literally everybody, and all that varies is how much of an affect (tiny to the point of insignificant all the way to life ruining and everything in between). We can’t guess exactly how that effect manifests, but I also postulate for most people I am guessing was not “sex confidence” or whatever she said, but a negative effect. Maybe a tiny negative for many, but still a negative
Then there’s considering what effect generations being raised on porn has contributed to the popularity of onlyfans or how many girls are now embracing prostitution as a means of easy upward mobility and not necessity to survive as generations has with the world’s oldest profession in the past
I’m not a purist though. I don’t think it should be banned. I just don’t recommend watching. And brothels should remain a thing, but remain tucked away into the seedier parts of town. I can’t explain exactly why making these things mainstream is bad. I just know it is. Deep in my balls
