right it's not just the pyramids there are ridiculous stoneworks all over the world that can't be easily explained
I think on one level or another, every human can sense that they are being lied to. that the world isn't real. That feeling of, "I don't know what the truth is, but I do know that it's not what you're telling me"
Humans are so weird when you think about it. We're the only species on earth that can't survive in it's environment. If you leave an adult human pretty much anywhere on earth without tools they will just die. Our newborns can't move, are defenseless, and have to be fed directly into their mouths in order to survive. We're the only species that leaves our environment worse off for our presence. We're the only species that destroys and kills for fun.
that's not any new information but after some deep thinking you can only surmise that the weird thing around here is us, we're not part of whatever the earth is. we don't live with the earth we live in spite of it. I don't wanna sound like a hippy but the earthlovers aren't wrong with their take on it.
This modern urban sprawl that we traverse with vehicles is just weird to me. It doesn't feel real. Like this is all some ridiculous theater that we perpetrate with our lives. The bears and the birds and the bees are just looking at us like, wtf is wrong with those animals, everything they need for life is here but they have to smelt steel and string wires.
If evolution is a thing then I imagine this level of sentience is a mistake. It's not a benefit, like even our most basic technology was invented to solve a problem that doesn't need to exist. we don't need clothes if we live in a tropical environment, we don't need grocery stores if we live where food grows on trees.
The majority of all the work that we do is just to resist an environment that is incondusive to life but we're too stubborn to realize it.
