Yea him and that hottie as F redhead shadow knight in Willow got into a long term relationship after the movie because of the movie

Let’s be real though, his acting for Madmartigan wasn’t nearly as good as Doc Holiday

I just idolized the character as a kid. He was the reluctant hero, but also a cocky bastard. Telling everyone he was the best, bragging about himself. But he could back it up. He had just the right amount of fun confidence where it didn’t come across as too much of a snobby douche. It was just that he was good, he knew he was good, and he was going to tell everyone he was good lol

Movie heroes since have evolved to be more of a wisecracker type when they are cocky, like Deadpool. Which is fine too, I guess
