On a related note, why is vanilla flavour in EVERYTHING american?
Imo it is a mask which covers the quality of the other ingredients.
Recently been getting into Mackie's Icecream*. I think it would be fun to compare ingredients?
Whole Milk (60%), Whipping Cream (21%), Sugar, Milk Solids, Glycerine, Emulsifier (Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids), Pasteurised Free Range Eggs, Stabilisers (Sodium Alginate and Guar Gum)
No flavourings, just the real taste of sweet, pasteurised cream!
*not as in McD's fast food, but a scottish icecream/chocolate manufacturer.

I do like FatBoy ice cream sandwiches, like the vanilla variety, they typically contain fresh whole milk, liquid sugar, wafer cookies, cream, non-fat dry milk, and a stabilizer
Idk if its just subconscious or if it really is better than regular ice cream sandwiches, maybe I should do a test.
