In the US though, because we wouldn't be building in the Empty Quarter but in National Parks, it would probably work pretty well.
There's very little room for eminent domain counterclaims when it's federal land to begin with.
I would move to a federal city if they built one nearby. Probably a better deal to pay rent to America than some rando land owning parasite class property 'owner'.
