I dunno, I think both sides want this “Rampant Corruption At The Highest Level” summer 2025 Blockbuster and usually fraud is more subtle. Criminals are stupid. White collar criminals typically are not as stupid as the dude who shoots the store clerk in front of the cameras for $80
Dep’ts like the treasury are doing their own audits. If there’s fraud, we are also assuming that it isn’t some Joe Schmo transferring money from the gov’t into his account, because I guarantee their own audits wouldn’t like that. But this would be fraud that is endorsed by the treasury itself
Yea, there could be some. But is it going to be as rampant as people think? I’m skeptical. I’m also skeptical on thinking like the left does that Elon is some kind of supervillain who is going to shut the entire gov’t down to protect his scams. He’s no Lex Luthor, Lex Luthor would have come up with a better plan than that
