Crazier still is the consideration to send US citizens to El Salvador prisons.
This is interesting, I had heard about Guantanamo. I wonder if they’re going to blast 24 hours of the same Eminem song and leave the lights on all day and night. I remember when I first heard that I was like “well that’s not so bad, I like Eminem”, but then I found out it was the same song on repeat. That might get a bit old. Although sometimes with a new hit song I like I’ll listen to that shit over and over…Although I heard they waterboarded prisoners too I’m assuming that will have to stop

But the El Salvador prison thing is pretty wild. I bet those places are super shitholes. I’ve watched a few documentaries on Central American prisons and the prisoners don’t look like ones here who are often all jacked and shit. Their prisoners are sickly stick figures, starving. Also crammed together so many to a cell that they can’t even lie down

But the other side of the coin is places like CA apparently have so little room in their prisons (or jails maybe getting those mixed up) that not a lot of people realize that’s partly why so many criminals get put back on the streets. Everyone assumes it’s lax laws about non-violent crimes but it’s also because there’s no damn room to put them
