It's a bonehead fucking move. Canada isn't exactly a place where enterprises go to undercut US goods and we're going to need the largest duty-free market we can get to put the pain on China, where it matters. Just dumb as all hell, though I expected as much.

Kstone XL means Canada pays USA to move oil through it. Tarrifs means Canada pays Usa to send goods into it.
So both just generate revenue for USA to do nothing.
