blackrock is big for sure, but they are just one entity among hundreds domestically and thousands globally.
gotta look at it in terms of all the large complex rentals too, these play just as big or more a role in deciding home real estate prices, which are all owned by faceless conglomerates.
heck, we could solve alot of these problems just by removing foreign private equity. the idea the dudes in london or beijing can own property in the US that they don't live on is just bad for all americans
