It seems like there are enough politicians now under the MAGA movement that trump wouldn't have to run as VP, but i wouldn't put it past them just switching the names for '28 to Vance/Trump
people are gonna have mixed feelings about this, but like it or not, MAGA is a political party. They ran on the republican ticket but ~50% of republicans would prefer the old guard, they just aren't dumb enough to outright challenge MAGA.
I feel like this is one of the major reasons the dems lost, they refused to treat MAGA as though it was it's own entity, as a populist movement instead of a republican movement.
but then i ask myself, they can't be that blind and deaf, unless they really did go so far into the wokeness that they buried themselves under their own ideology like shovelquest suggests
