1 minor thing I noticed-in Rathe Mtns, the SK Troll guard now has a pet also...I had always wondered before why the Shaman had one and it didnt...

As of the last patch, this SK now has a pet. Its a pretty pathetic pet but it can be a real problem for kiters. The pet is about in the high teens.

Crusader's and Darkforge

I would like to clear up some confusion that has been going around for anyone that is starting their Darkforge Quest.

1.) Crusader's DO have pets. In the past this wasn't true, but Verant has added this, so if someone tells you that they don't, correct them.
(Stupid pets, accidently dropped a HT on it, and not his master)

2.)Our low lvl spell Sense the Dead WILL point you in the direction of the nearest crusader pet in Cazic-Thule. Now actually getting to that point is a different story, but at least it will tell you that a crusader is up and the general direction.

3.) Crusader's are SK's around 33-35, so they have every spell that we have. Some might say that all they have is HT, but that again might have been changed (not sure). But I do know that they have all our spells (Darkness, Fear, Lifetap) its just the matter of getting these spells to stick (usually resisted)

This is a long and painful quest, so help the other SK's in the zone out. Talk to each other to see what pieces everyone needs, and by all mean don't announce in /ooc that there is extra decayed. Nothing pisses me off more than some Druid running over and looting some decayed and a SK getting there after him to get a "sorry, someone else got here first" Good Luck to all that are starting their journey down this long road.

well, i have had a few run ins with zytl, heres what info i have
only recently have i seen him with a pet, and it was a skellie, tho not invisible, and it died when he died.
on the subject of khizdean gix, while i cannot factually say that his death does Not spawn zytl i can say he is not a PH for zytl, for i dont think they could be up at the same time if that were the case. Recently while medding by an inn i took a moment to check my tracking. Khizdan was there as well as zytl. i figured i would go after zytl when done medding ( i have a grudge against him from my early teens ), but he must be phsycic for no sooner had i thought that than he jumped me. dumb dragoon, never learns.
So maybe killing Gix can trigger zytl, but he can definately spawn without it as well.
