Been playing Songs of Syx a lot lately and got a kick out of this. I conquered a nearby territory and took some war captives as slaves. Among the captives was a race called Amevias-- semi-aquatic, ferocious lizardman race that hates everyone, loves enslaving people, and has to live near water, which was already making my Iksar sense tingle.

Anyway I brought some home as slaves and put a few to work fishing on their own little island. Lo and behold: one of them named Nathsar- the dev is an EQ player [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Pretty cool game though, it's like Rimworld/Dwarf Fortress where you can zoom out of your settlement and build an empire. A bit more spreadsheet-y with the economics management, you start with a handful of guys and grow your city from 10 to 100 to 1,000, to 10,000+

One of my fighting pits where criminals get sentenced to gladiatorial combat for the entertainment of my citizens while some local janitors skinnydip in the river.

Iksar fishing island. Think I'll do an iksar playthrough next. All the races play differently.
