If you want an actual treasure hunter just roll a chanter/shaman/necro alt. None of the melee classes are good at it, and will be relegated to farming fine steel and goblin skins for plat (which is still good money, just not what I would consider treasure hunting.)

I’d advise against shaman. Takes a lot of investef plat to make shaman work and even then not a great crawler as you lack paci and FD (kinda).
