If you want an actual treasure hunter just roll a chanter/shaman/necro alt. None of the melee classes are good at it, and will be relegated to farming fine steel and goblin skins for plat (which is still good money, just not what I would consider treasure hunting.)

Geared sks can do some pretty cool shit and with 3 fds you’re basically unkillable. Check out keeraraes solo vids. But yea enc/shaman/necro can do it with a lot less gear.
