Can someone explain what actually happened for those of us who are nosy?
I'm in a Discord server with a bunch of alt right people who frequently drop slurs and say hateful things. It doesn't phase me. I still get confused when normies join the server and actually get upset because of words on a screen.
At the same time I have common sense though. I had to warn a friend the other night that if he didn't stop calling people slurs on VC on Overwatch that the bots would auto-detect and ban him. And then a couple of months ago in my own P99 guild they had to kick someone out because he wouldn't stop dropping the N-word.
They didn't auto-kick him though, and tried to reason with him. The word itself doesn't really bother me, but I understand that it's going to get you kicked out of most WoW guilds and P99 guilds in 2024, so it's almost common sense just to not do it.
The guy they kicked out over it though really annoyed me because he kept talking about how we're all too pussy to type that word, but when he told him to type it in OOC in EC Tunnel, he wouldn't do it, because he knew better. Like it's obvious the dude knows how to self-censor to avoid negative consequences. Just seems like common sense.
