I buy stuff from these guys.

I would recommend buying the beer kits first, and then starting to mix and match ingredients once you feel confident enough. I've only been doing it for a little over a year now, but there is nothing like coming home and drinking beer you made yourself. It's awesome. I can talk to you about it in vent, too.
