Original AD and D i was Thief Mage and my mate who clearly "miss read" the rules to have a Monk Cleric.
Multi and dual classes are a good theory.
Pity I got me zero/minimal game time as it is.
A quick read of the rules seem that you get the best of all worlds. A D and D mage warrior couldnt wear restrictive armor and cast for example.
