For anyone finding this in 2024 - Launch Titanium.bat did not work for me, but using the eqgame.exe, startme launch option and Proton 7.x.x worked. Blank server list, however. So I used this which I found on the forums:

I cannot confirm anything working in game mode, I simply wanted to play with wireless kb+m on the couch!

I also very specifically used /home/deck/ for the location of EQ files, as I feared permissions issues.
