There was a band Rexx (of all people) linked me that I cannot remember the name of. It was a current band but they played 80's style New Wave / electronic shit - focus on the keyboardist. I know that's pretty vague but if you can NAME THAT MYSTERY BAND then I will buy you beer sometime.
