I have just followed
this how-to, to get setup for P1999 play. The game client looks right, I get the old login scren, my login account works, I get to the server list, and select any of the P1999 servers in the "Legends" list at the top (well, ive tried green and blue anyway), and after I get to player selection I get the error that my spells list is out of date...
I DID download the P99 files zip, Version 57 (as is listed in the above howto) and unzip it replacing files in my EQ installation directory. I even looked and see the updates spells_us.txt file in there, though there is also a spells_en.txt that looks like it came from the installation media?
Which files should exist? is there a newer spells file than the one included in v57?
