Yup. Nothing pulls me out of the game quite like a megatwinked Iksar monk with a tranquil staff and a fungi tunic basically soloing a camp and flexing his wealth while the rest of the group kinda just... looks on. Yuck.

REALLY hoping for news on a server reset / recycle soon. Or at least some kind of announcement affirming that they haven't abandoned the project, lol. At this rate, EQOA (the Playstation 2 EverQuest) will probably have a private server up and running before a P99 Green refresh. |
They haven't abandoned the project. People forget that long gaps between things isn't historically unusual here (I don't mean that as an insult to the project heads, just a fact). For example, the final patch on Blue took a very long time. The actual launch of Green happened a very long time after the first statement that the intent was to have Blue as a "beta" server and then create new progression servers such as Green.
I would imagine something similar will happen here. We're about 18 months past the
earliest point they said they would merge. So I'm not surprised a merge hasn't happened nor that there hasn't been any communication on further plans. I wouldn't be surprised if we get to summer 2025 and suddenly there's a communication that we're going to merge and a new Green is going to be launched toward the end of the year.
