My friends recommended to join them playing Valheim not so long ago, so that's what I've been playing recently.
I've always loved survival games, but finding one that engages you as Valheim does is really hard. Everything is fun about this game, and even the less-desired grinding of ores and other hard-to-get items is fun. It has something for just about everyone (building, surviving, combat), and though it can be brutal sometimes, it is fair.
I don't know if others play it, though this game is very popular, but we rent a private server for $8 that can keep up to 10 players. If anyone's interested, we have 2 free places. Or, you could rent your own. We got ours from
