I have a gay co-worker supervisor who belongs to that group, the sisters of perpetual indulgence. One time I went into a sex shop with him while he picked out a funny gift for a friend. It was a bit fun, also a bit awkward
I still remember he was talking about a huge meetup of the Sisters in Vegas that's thousands large and was like "you should come". And I was like "I dunno, are there any women there?". And he responded "biological women?" And I was like ".....um....yea?" And we both laughed
This was years ago before "biological women" was considered slang
