I now know why the big races don’t have you doubling back. Because laps 2 and 3 of the work 5k were non-stop obstacles of slower people I was lapping. Felt like a football player having to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge. Some 5yr old oblivious girl ran right out in front of me as I was passing her family, and I thought how awesome it would be to vault right over her, but I couldn’t spare the energy
