Kunzar Kuzinch or snare whip will solve 99 percent of the warrior CC issues, namely fleeing mobs.
The biggest prob the warrior/sham have over other duos like monk/sham or sk/sham is the splitting spawns. Especially in a tight dungeon. Root/pet will only get you so far. Without pacify or fd you just won't be able to break some camps. Then again the camps you can break the war will be able to tank tougher mobs earlier.
