1. They are not the only decent electric cars out there, in fact they are now among the worst. Other major auto retailers have caught up.

3. You know, right, that it's pointless for humans to try to live on Mars? There is no way for it to be permanently and independently inhabited due to the obscene radiation levels. You would have to live underground, and at that point, why be on Mars? Just be on the moon. There are many other better candidates in the solar system for habitation. Somehow your 'genius' didn't catch that one, or maybe he finally did, because he never fuckin talks about it anymore. More than likely he was just talking up SpaceX back when Mars was really big in the early 00's
